I picked up a few pairs of the Wonder Nation Boys Knit Shorts for my son, and they've quickly become his favorite "everyday" pair. Comfortable material the length is good and I would get a size larger than what you would buy for your child and husky is very generous. I bought husky and had to return it to get the same size but not in husky they'll wash with little shrinkage and there's many color and pattern choices and they were a great value for a 10-year-old boy
