Definitely worth the break in period!

Best work boots I've ever owned. During the 2-week break in period, I nearly gave up on them, but I'm really glad I didn't. My shins hurt like heck initially, but one day it just quit. I am using Georgia Boot CC5 insoles, which may be partly why I would say the foot bed is wonderful. I also end up working in water a lot and they are indeed water proof.

So many boots require that you break them in for a while before they are comfortable. From the moment I put these on they had an incredible fit. I work in a pretty harsh work environment where I am on my feet all day. These boots are one of the best investment I've ever made.

The Georgia Boot is the only boot I have purchased over the last 20 years for one reason. I can put on a brand new pair and work 8 - 10hrs with no issue. I go through a pair a year, that's just normal construction work. Always happy with the water proof here in Oregon.
