I was looking everywhere because my son's elementary school requested an orange composition notebook, and this one was the only one that I found at a low price. This notebook's front and back cover is thin flexible plastic. This notebook is thin and work for our needs. In our school, teachers asked for 5 to 8 composition notebooks and don't even fully use them so this notebook being thin works for us.

I love that this composition notebook has a flexible cover. This makes it easy to stick into my kids' backpacks without worrying about the rigid cover not fitting well. The pages are a good size for writing and the wide ruled lines make it easy for kids to write in. The design on the cover is fun and cool for kids. There are plenty of writing pages in here for kids to use and will definitely last the whole school year. It's even easy to tear out the pages, if you need to do so. I'm able to use a permanent marker to put my child's name on the front with ease. Overall, this is a great choice for a composition notebook.
