Product details

Build and program your own robotic chameleon with the My Robotic Pet Coding Chameleon. This interactive robotic pet responds to gestures, changes colors, moves realistically, and automatically extends and retracts its tongue. With three play modes, kids can explore coding, robotics, and biomimicry through hands-on play. In Coding Mode, use the included colorful action cards to program the chameleon to perform a sequence of movements without using a screen or smart device. Wild Mode lets the chameleon camouflage itself by changing to match its surroundings, search for objects, and extend its tongue as it explores. In Pet Mode, the robotic chameleon walks around, looks for you, and reacts when you interact with it. Designed with moving eyes, a moving jaw, articulated legs, a color sensor, an infrared sensor, and RGB LEDs, this 15-inch robotic chameleon offers an engaging way to explore how technology can be inspired by nature. Kids can learn about robotics, coding, and biomimicry while building and playing with their robotic pet.

Easy to put together kids love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 12-year-old son absolutely loved this robot. He felt such a sense of pride and being able to do this all on his own and it made him feel good being able to code the robot like he needed to. It has a really good battery life on it my son‘s been playing with it for hours days And it's still going strong. It's sturdy. The plastic is made sturdy so I don't think it's gonna break easily. It's easy for him to carry around. He loves that he can put the different coating cards down and then it does. What the cards say such as shake strike stay I absolutely think this is a brilliant Toy. It gets to kids doing something and using their mind, which is a huge plus for me.
