Compression Socks for Women & Men Knee High (3 Pairs) 15-20 mmHg is Best Support for Athletic Running Cycling

I ordered these because I have to wear support stockings and do not choose to pay top dollar for a product that won't last for a really long time. Anything "elastic" is going to loosen over time, washings and wearing. I machine wash but line dry because the foot part needs seriously stretching. Details: Size: I wear an 8 1/2 women's shoe which is right on the border between small and the next larger size of these stockings. Because I need the compression for my legs I go through the hassle of pulling, tugging and stretching the foot part so they do not hurt my toes. If you wear a size 7 or smaller women's shoe these would fit much better. Compression: Medium, as advertised. It is about all I can do to get these on my legs in the morning by myself, so I can't wear stronger compression than these have. I am medium size and rather small boned. Anyone with larger calves would not be able to get into this size. Once on, they are comfortable. Colors: For me this is a non issue although I got the package of 3 colors, simply because occasionally I want to wear something other than black on my legs. I tried another brand of "cute" knee highs with flowers, but the yarn for each decoration was way too thick and left deep dents in my legs and feet, so these plain weave ones are the most practical for this old lady.

Well-made, better than the ones that they replaced.
