We purchased for twins (12 year old girls). They were able to assemble (very minimal) by theirselves and download the app for the safety lock function, then taught their self how to ride! They seem to be great quality-easy to ride, they can travel a long time on a single battery charge. Mom even jumped on %26 zipped along at almost 30mph! They are a little heavy for the kids to carry when folded but fairly easy for an adult to load in the car. These will provide hours of outdoor fun!
