How to use Wireless Carplay?

1. Open Wifi & Bluetooth

2. Find the Carplay ID on iphone and connecting

  • Turn on the WiFi and Bluetooth on your iPhone.
  • Tips:Because it connects with Bluetooth and sends the WiFi credentials to the phone,so open them both. Make sure your car and iPhone is not connected to any other Wi-Fi or Bluetooth networks.
  • Select the Bluetooth name starting with "CARABC-xxx" and press “Pair” on your Phone, and then select “Use CarPlay” after the Bluetooth pairing is successful.

Had some challenges, happy with the results

This was an expensive mod for me and it took awhle before I finall made the purchase. After goig through the instal process, I can say that I wish I did this sooner. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't call this a simple install but all the info you need are in the short videos released by the factory.
