Multiple award winner, including 2023 Game Of The Year. If you liked Breath of the Wild, then chances are high that you'll like Tears of the Kingdom. The story takes place several years after the events in Breath of the Wild. Princess Zelda has disappeared. Link is on a quest to find her. Game mechanics are the same (like weapons that break) and Link acquires different skills this time around. One ability allows you to fuse items to your weapons and shields, which is especially awesome. Creativity pays off in this game. The game has 3 layers - underground, floating islands and the familiar Hyrule landscape. I haven't stopped playing (physical, Switch 1 version) since it was delivered 8 days ago. There is a LOT to explore. Tears of the Kingdom is huge, fun and suitable for pretty much all ages. Two thumbs up.
