I got this item in white, mainly because I wanted to be able to put it up be myself. It worked wonderfully for that, I did it all by myself, but I was disappointed when it arrived without any shipping materials around it. The canvas bag arrived torn and filthy because a shipping label was just slapped on it. The tent itself came in a box inside the canvas carry bag, so it was safe and sound, but it was disappointing.

I’ve been purchasing several of these Ozark 10’ x 10’ pop-up canopies from Walmart over the past 7 years. They’ve all held up for 2-3 years each with continuous use on my patio. I’ve even ordered replacement canopy fabric covers for them since the frames were still good. When they can’t be repaired I buy a new one. This last purchase there is a visible lower quality difference of this same canopy. Ozark has reduced the size of the metal frame members by almost half. And the connecting joins are not as large or strong. I don’t expect this new canopy to last more than one season if that. I don’t know what they decided to weaken the structure by using much less strong metal members and joints. I would pay more for the same canopy and not have to replace it annually. I suspect this is Walmart forcing its manufacturers to reduce or hold prices steady and the only way they can do that is to reduce the qualtiy and compromise the durability of their product. I also feel that they would rather you buy a new one every year and throw away the used one rather than have the customer reuse the same stronger canopy two or three years before they need to replace it.
