Great value with great performance

I've been eagerly anticipating the release of this tablet since it was announced. The first, and only, place to purchase this was from Walmart. Unfortunately, some of the stats on the website are incorrect. For example, the processor is a MTK Helio G100, not a G99. The tablet itself came in at the price point announced originally. It's an outstanding value. Very fast and responsive. My primary reason for purchasing was to read comics and books. It's perfect for reading comics in full, vibrant color. The e-ink mode is great for books and reducing eye strain. I also have a Kindle Colorsoft which is locked into the Amazon ecosystem. My Boox Go Color 7 is good for being powered by Android, but the colors for comics are muted. The TCL NXTPAPER 11 Plus gives you the best of all worlds. E-ink for books, full color for comics, and not locked into one ecosystem! The one complaint I have is the lack of a SD card slot. You can use a thumb drive to store something like a large comics collection, but I would like to expand storage using a micro SD card. Overall, it's a great tablet/reader. At this price it's a great value. It feels well made and the performance is outstanding. I can definitely recommend it!

Easy on the eyes and a great value

The TCL NXTPAPER 11 Plus is a welcome addition to the tablet market, primarily distinguished by its innovative eye friendly 11.5" 2.2K display with NXTPAPER 4.0 and 8000mAh battery with 33W PD fast charging. I have a TCL tablet that uses the NXTPAPER 3.0 display and the 11 Plus display is a noticeable improvement over the 3.0 display. I plan on using the 11 Plus in the Ink Paper Mode 95% of the time as an e-reader. There is a NXTPAPER mode switch on the top right cover so it makes it very easy to switch between the three display modes. There are several unboxing videos on YouTube but those are actually for the non-US version and include a charger, case and pen. The US version (or at least the Walmart version) only includes the tablet and a USB-C charging cable - no charger. The back of the tablet is very slick and can easily slip out of your hand. So, I'll be looking for a case. I want the case that comes with the non-US version because it is a flip cover with a magnetic holder for the pen but I cannot find it yet. The TCL NXTPAPER 11 Plus is a compelling option for users seeking a tablet with an emphasis on comfortable viewing and reduced eye strain and I would highly recommend it especially at this price point.

Great budget tablet

I bought this because I love reading ebooks, but my kindle is too small for my liking. The nxtpaper button being able to switch between modes was initially what drew me to this product, and it is so awesome. What I was not expecting was how amazing the anti glare display is. I ultimately returned this tablet, due to it being too big for my liking, but for anyone who wants a great tablet at a budget friendly price, this tablet is awesome!
