Purchased for an indoor mini banana tree. Easy to install. Claps on the side of the large planter easily. Arms are flexible as described. You can provide light to numerous plants by moving the arms. The switch is on the cord again easy to use. I did have to use an electrical cord because the attach cord is short. Highly Recommend

Hope to winter over potted veggies!

It definitely does not give off the purple light shown in the picture. Each arm has alternating red and blue lights which can be turned on as all one color or both colors together but it does not show as purple. Hopefully it will keep my veggies and herbs alive all winter.
