I have had really good luck with the socks that Walmart offers online. Yes, I keep getting men's socks, but that is because it can be hard to find socks for me in women's sizes. I have long and narrowfeet. When I used to wear fancy high heels with pointy toes, I wore a 9 1/2. It isn't just hard to find sneakers that aren't too wide. It is hard to find socks that fit you and that you can wear when you are exercising without having them fall down under the line of your heel. These are ankle socks, not the socks that sit right at the top of your sneaker below your ankle. That means you can fold them down a hint if you like. When you exercise every day, especially when you do so out in high heat, socks are serious business. If they don't sit in one spot, you end up with a pretty miserable heat rash. My husband has feet like mine, and in our experience socks tend to run small. I would order up a size if your feet are wide, but these fit my feet like a glove. please see the attached pictures.

Okay lets do this. Imagine that you are some caped crusader in a comic book. You have all of your standard gear but, alas, no socks! Having little time you order these in a rush. You bemoan the situation because you have to stop crime tomorrow and they won't be delivered until tomorrow night. You wake up the next afternoon only to find that they were delivered early (and not stolen by the riff-raff that you despise). You quickly put them on expecting the worst, but realize that was a vengeful thought. (Probably brought on by the years of having to deal with similar experiences ) As you slip them on you realize one thing: Someone understands your feet. You can't recognize if they are friend or foe, just that they know you. With little to lose you decide that these socks are friendly because going barefoot would chaff and you running after those dastardly villains without socks will hurt worse. As you patrol the area you notice a group of young thugs, probably wearing inferior socks, assaulting an older lady. Your first instinct is to climb and possibly subdue from above. Then you feel the comfort from your feet. "I can help". You almost shrug it off and you start to climb. "I can help" is whispered again. Looking at the building you decide the climb might take too long so you jump into the fray. The first one is downed with a single punch, and without you thinking, the second one is layed flat with a roundhouse kick. "Where did that come from" you wonder as the third one runs away. You check on the victim and she seems okay. Another crime stopped. "I know where he went". "How do you know", I reply. "Trust me". I did as asked, and it was a great day.
