The dogs like it and it is indeed waterproof. I bought a small one but now I wish I had gotten a bigger one. It's soft and feels like a real blanket even though it's waterproof. I like that it has 2 sides: one smooth, one fleece. My dogs prefer the smooth velvety side, but it's nice to have the option of fleece too.

Dog blanket

We have an older dog. He is almost completely blind so going outside is not possible andd while he is on the couch or sleeping at the foot of the bed, he loses control. I purchaased two of these blankets and have been completely satisfied. They are waterproof and when soiled can be popped into the washing maching. The dog loves to sleep on the blanket. Great for all concerned.
