Clairol Natural Instincts Cr&acuteme Semi- Permanent Hair Color, Medium Brown, 21

I discussed using this type of product with my stylist because I wanted some gray coverage but didn't want to deal with roots and a drastic or demanding coloring schedule! I learned that it is much easier on and much less damaging to one's hair than permanent color which contains ammonia. Ammonia makes hair very porous and causes permanent damage which is why hair colored and recolored (with ammonia product) begins to appear less shiny and sort of "muddy" in appearance. Non-permanent color washes away in approximately the same time frame in which permanently colored hair needs root touch up. The change in appearance as the Natural Instincts wears away is subtle and no "roots demarcation". I recolor at my convenience because the change is subtle and like I said - no big roots issue. I have been using Natural instincts for several years now and am well pleased with the performance and the effect on my hair. Easy to apply, no unpleasant odor, additional color sachet and conditioner (for a few more shampoos) nice bonuses - I would recommend this product to others. ( I personally use it about once every 3 months, it depends on how often you shampoo, it is suggested it lasts thru 28 shampoos.)

I use this religiously!! I am 54 and have some stubborn grays right in front and after applying this color, not only is my hair more manageable but it feels healthier! Covers the gray nicely and love the conditioner that comes with it! I would not buy any other!!
