fits my space perfectly, my only complaint is the thin material is susceptible to indentations from a rolling office chair. the mat does recover to some extent after the chair is moved and unloaded.

So difficult to unroll

It's the world's okayest chair mat. It works. It fits under my desk and my sewing table. It's not too horrible looking. It's heavy duty for sure. I probably wouldn't buy it again just because it was so hard to unroll. The teeth on the back make it very aggressive and mean. Like wrestling a panther!Ouch! I even hung it over a table for a week to get it to relax. It's a two or three person job down on hands and knees to get it flat. Plus heavy books to flatten the ends. I would buy something else next time. But it's down now and I'm not undoing it! 😜

Chair doesn't roll smoothly

The 36" x 48" size is good for under a desk, and the mat stays in place on my carpet. My main issue is that my chair doesn't roll smoothly on it. It takes extra effort to move around, and the wheels feel like they drag instead of gliding. It's an okay mat otherwise, but rolling is the main reason to get one, so I'm a little disappointed.
