The REDLTIHIUM™ FORGE™ XC8.0 delivers 8 amp hours of runtime, but with the same power as the M18™ REDLITHIUM™ HIGH OUTPUT™ HD12.0 in a smaller size and lighter weight design. I purchased the Milwaukee M18 REDLITHIUM 8.0 Ah Forge Battery (48-11-1881). This is a great price for a high-capacity battery. It delivers strong, reliable power and lasts a long time, making it perfect for heavier tools and longer jobs. What I like is the long runtime and solid performance—it holds a charge well and keeps tools running efficiently. What I don't like is that it's a bit heavier than smaller batteries, but that's expected with higher capacity. Overall, it's a great value for the power you get, especially if you already use Milwaukee M18 tools.

Battery charge life is outstanding! Charged once when I received the battery. That was about a month ago and I use the vacuum I have it placed in nearly every other day and it is still fully charged!
