Cut small.

The hats are cut small. They to stretch some, they have a lining in them. The set is knitted, but the lining is keeping it from stretching a lot. Small is get for newborn, medium is smaller than I think it should be. I hope the medium one will fit.

Let me say this, I love these hats. They are knitted with a lining in them. What I don't like is how small they are. I got they for bay shower gifts. The small ones will fit a new born baby and medium will fit a two month old. I purchased medium for my toddler great grandson, but it's to small. They are nice knit has , the lining is a fabric that doesn't stretch. Maybe the larger ones will be better. They are just to small for a toddler.
