About this item

Product details

Make learning fun through hands-on play with the Play Day Alphabet Foam Mat. This colorful 28-piece set brings together interlocking soft foam tiles with a complete pop-out alphabet, plus a pop-out star and heart shape for even more ways to play. The pieces connect to create a soft play area, and because they interlock, they can be arranged into all kinds of different patterns and shapes for open-ended, imaginative play. As children build simple words and explore creative designs, the mat encourages letter recognition, imaginative play, and fine motor skill practice through engaging, hands-on activity. Made of lightweight, durable foam, the tiles are easy to assemble, take apart, and move from one play space to another.

A Tactile Aid for Learning the Alphabet

What a great set for early learners or for late bloomers! You can actually make a rug like play area with it but there are also so many activities you can do as the child grows and can learn the names of the letters of the alphabet, find letters that are in his/her name. put groups together to make alphabet blocks. This set will be donated to a classroom of children who are beginning to learn the names of the alphabet letters and I think they will enjoy using them in the process!
