I would recommend this rice cooker mainly for its value. It's hard to beat the price for the capacity, especially for families of four or five. I also appreciate its simple operation and the fact that it cooks rice faster than a much more expensive model we previously owned. During the first few uses, the cooker does give off a slight plastic or rubber smell; however, it doesn't seem to affect the taste or quality of the rice.

I like the fact it is lightweight, fair price and most importantly it cooks the rice perfectly but I also use it to steam vegetables and buns which steams them quickly and done to perfection! I use this all the time when I'm in a hurry to get dinner done fast!!! Thank you so much.
