Please note that our firepits do not have a bottom.  ——In order to protect your ground, we recommend that you put a layer of sand or rocks on the bottom before use.  ——You can surround your fire pit with stones and bricks as a liner. Remember to leave about 1/2" space between the ring and the stones, as well as about 3" space at the bottom. ——Or fill the area around the fire pit with sand or dirt and use it as a separate fire pit ring. 2. Please note that the rusty color you choose is a special Corten Steel material (weathering steel), so rusty is its own color. If you mind, please choose black color.
