Catit Pixi Smart 6-Meal Feeder

I got this automatic feeder dispenser for my cat with renal disease. It's imperative that she keeps her weight steady. My work schedule was too erratic to feed her on a regular schedule. It's easy to setup, clean, and schedule feedings. And, you can share the controls with other people. My only qualm is, that the feeding bowl depth is too low. I do think that their needs to be individual bowls in the spots, so the whole unit doesn't have to be disassembled, and the food can be raised up a bit, so there isn't whisker fatigue. Also, the timing for feedings is in 24 hour, not 12 (I'm American) so that's a little confusing, but can't hate Catit for that.

I have 2 of these for my cats. It does it's job well, haven't had any issues with it not working at feed time. My cats eat out of it great, and are learning what the beep means as it rotates a new meal out. A few things I would like to see improved: 1. The ice packs get "lumps" when frozen for "too long" which is annoying. Can be fixed by running that spot under warm water, but not ideal 2. Wish there was a metal feed tray option 3. Wish the trays were just a little bigger for my large kitties faces
