Thermacell E-ZoneGuard Patio Rechargeable Mosquito Repeller with 8-Hr Refill and 5.5-Hr Battery, Black

I am quite disappointed. The refill that came with the thermacell says 8hrs. I'm lucky if I got 3. I purchased an additional refill which says 12 hrs. The level of liquid was what looks like the equivalent to the original refill. I'm a little pessimistic to think it will last longer than the first.

I really wanted this to work. The concept behind Thermacell is fantastic—an odorless, portable mosquito repellent that creates a protective zone. Count me in. I followed the instructions carefully, starting the device well before we used the area, and even installed two units to expand the coverage. Unfortunately, mosquitoes still managed to bite all of my friends. Despite the promise of a mosquito-free zone, the protection just didn't hold up in real-world conditions. We were outdoors, in a relatively still environment, and expected better performance given the setup. ✅ Pros: • Easy to set up and use • No strong smell or sticky sprays • Portable and sleek design ❌ Cons: • Didn't repel mosquitoes effectively, even with two units • Coverage area seems overstated • Not reliable for group settings I love the idea behind Thermacell, but in practice, it didn't deliver. Maybe it works better in smaller, more enclosed spaces—but for outdoor gatherings, I'd recommend having a backup plan.
