If you're looking for recreational play and a little competition to start with than this is not bad set at all. The paddles may not be top of the line but they handled the job very well. I first used them at an indoor court and I was the only one who had a indoor ball which came with the set. The fiberglass surface allowed me to have quick response and had a fairly good sweet spot. The control was good and I was able to hit better net huggers. The power level I would say is maybe a 8 out of 10 which took me a few swings to determine how hard I needed to hit. Grip was phenomenal and allowed me to switch forward or backward swings fairly quickly. I enjoyed this set very much and I even had friends ask to borrow it during their sets. Great value for low cost is always a plus in my book!
