I didn't find the images misleading. As I have purchased many cube shelves, i knew there was no way the price was ffor a whole shelf. it was just the insert. Anyways, I saw the insert idea on IKEA but of course, their inserts would fit their brand which is too big for the MainStay (Walmart) brand. So i did a little searching and I am so glad I stumbled across these! Although they were sold out in my desired color, it was not a big deal. I used the insert for the shelf that I have convertef into my toddler's dresser. Now the shelf fits a small drawer of socks and a small drawer of shoes. Another cube was split for accessories and puzzles. It worked so great that zi ordered another set of two for another cube shelf. it is so easy to assemble -- no issue with splitting the wood! My toddler helped me screwed the shelf together too. it was fun for them to help mommy. :)

Perfect fit shelves

These inserts are just perfect for the mainstay cube shelf set. I have gotten that previously, and I like these shelves that just split up the space perfectly. They slide in perfectly, they're sturdy enough, and they are a nice snug fit. I use them to split up the space for shoes, which it works perfectly for.
