Darn Tough wool socks are the best!

Darn Tough is a well-established, well-respected brand. Made in USA so that's good too. I consider these mid-weight, high quality wool socks. Good for hiking , especially spring and fall. I live in Minnesota and wear these as everyday socks during our cooler seasons. I have hardwood floors so these go well with slippers to keep my feet warmer than otherwise. All in all they're better quality, warmer socks. Wool socks always cost more but that's offset partly by the fact that they don't wear out--if they do, Darn Tough offers to exchange them for new ones.
