After weaning, at 6 - 8 weeks of age, kittens will normally eat dry or moistened food at will. Start a self-feeding program, leaving food in the dish at all times. Feeding amounts should be adjusted as necessary to help your kitten maintain an ideal body condition. FEEDING FOR REPRODUCTION: Purina Cat Chow Naturals provides the extra nutrition needed by reproducing females in stages of gestation and lactation. Food consumption may vary during gestation, so feed the amount needed to maintain the pregnant female's good body condition. Food intake may double or even quadruple during lactation. FEEDING TIP: Changes in your cat's diet should be made gradually to allow your cat to become accustomed to a new food. Substitute small amounts of the new food for the old food, gradually increasing the amount of the new food while decreasing the old food, over a period of 7 - 10 days. My cat has a very sensitive stomach and I had tried all kinds of food. She will only eat dry food and never eats anything else. She even turns her nose up at a can of tuna. She was constanly throwing up after she ate. At first I thought was hairballs so bought the tube of treatment you put on thier food but she still threw up and it was always in my bedroom and on my bed. It was a daily clean up and I got so I just kept my carpet cleaner sitting in the bedroom ready to use. I fed her Iams and that helped a little but not much. When I tried the Cat Chow Naturals it was all the difference in the world. She may still throw up occasionally but it is very rare. I would recommend this to anyone with a cat that has sensitive issues. It works so much better and is a lot cheaper than the Iams.

Purina Naturals Original is the ONLY food my Feline children will eat and they eat it well too. I have rescued over 20 cats and everyone of them loved this food. With each one I took to my local rescue center I always took a new bag to donate also. The only reason for 3 stars on Value for Price is the fact that it has more than doubled in price since Covid was unleashed on our country. I am so fed up with Covid being blamed on the criminal costs of grocery items.
