Great laptop, great value

I purchased this laptop after buying and returning 4 other laptops. Every laptop I purchased prior was lacking in some area. This laptop checked all the boxes for me. It is incredibly fast, the webcam is great, and the screen is good quality. I purchased mine on sale, so the price was incredible for the specs. This laptop is rare this day as most laptops are no longer user upgradable. This Lenovo has soldered ram and a ram slot. The ram slot is occupied by a 8GB chip, but it can be removed and replaced. I replaced mine with a 24GB chip giving me 32GB's of ram. What is also unique is the laptop also has a second, empty NVMe SSD slot. This allows you to add an extra drive if you like. Additionally, the laptop comes with the traditional barrel type charger, but you can also charge it from the USBc port. This is a great option if you are using a docking station and so not want to have two cords plugged in. Overall, I am extremely happy with the laptop. The all plastic build is good quality and does not degrade the overall appearance.

Really good computer for general and power users!

For the specs, this is a fantastic computer! One of my biggest requirements, weird as it sounds, is a laptop with a "normal" 10-key number pad. Laptop manufacturers have been making the insane decision to rearrange the number pad to remove a column of keys and squeeze more into the space. As someone who is a 10-key typist, this is asinine and an incredible interference to my workflow. Lenovo has avoided this and also added more useful keys, including (finally!) a calculator key!. I am not a fan of Windows 11 so I am running Manjaro Linux on it. The wireless card does not have drivers for Linux Mint users, so heads up on that one. Battery life with Manjaro is fantastic, the screen is clear and bright, and the computer is very responsive. Not the highest quality materials, but it still feels like a sturdy device. It's lightweight but still has a great screen size. Just a little more expensive than I wanted to pay, but could not find a comparable one anywhere else. Very happy!
