First of all this cat harness is great. Its comfortable and smooth. It lays flat and does not dig when a little force is applied. We have a neighborhood cat that roams freely, I tried using this to teach him to walk wall with me. He was not a fan of walking. Instead, he liked it more as a way to keep him stable in one spot .

Adjust the collar to its maximum

Like most men, I don't read instructions. After taking it out of the package, it seemed way too small. After studying it for about 5 minutes, I realized that it was shipped adjusted to it smallest size. Once I readjusted it to its maximum size, it fit my 12-lb tabby perfectly. The hard part is next. Cats don't instinctively walk on a leash like dogs.
