built this with my 5 year old grandson tonight . he very mechanical incline for his young age . he stayed with the assembly of the kit. we spent about 3-4 hours working together get it put together. the kit parts are well design and there were no sharp edge's the kit came with a small screwdriver and a wrench .the instructions are in color and layed out in steps . the kit is design for 8 or above but like said my grandson is advanced for his young age , the car comes with rubber tires and rolling axles ,plastic seats and steering wheel .
