  • ❓【Q&A】

◾ Q: Why is my outdoor camera draining so quickly?👍

◾ A: The battery of an outdoor security camera will run out faster the more times it is woken up. It is advised to set the sensitivity of the wireless camera and position it in a stable outdoor network environment.

◾ Q: Why did my solar-powered outdoor camera establish a wifi connection, only to lose it later?👍

◾ A: The network is experiencing an issue. Make sure the outdoor installation site has a strong wifi signal (> 75%). App's "Installation Guide" allows you to do a network diagnostic to find out if the wireless security camera is put in an appropriate outdoor location.

◾ Q: My solar wireless security camera did not send me an alert push after I downloaded the app.

◾ A: The app's push permission must be granted. You will be prompted to enable this permission in a pop-up window the first time you download and log in. Go to Notifications in the phone system settings, locate the app, and grant the outdoor security camera access to send notifications.

◾ Q: How can I link my app to my wifi?

◾ A: Verify that the outdoor security camera is turned on and that the working status light is slowly flickering red. Download the most recent version of the app. Once the wireless network has been chosen, aim the QR code at the battery-operated outdoor camera lens from a distance of 15-20cm. After the solar security camera beeps, connect it.

◾ Q: Why is the motion detection on my wifi outdoor camera limited to taking images of the back?

◾ A: PIR recognizes a moving object will turn on the wireless security camera, and begins recording screenshots in a split second. To increase the detection range, change the motion detection sensitivity. Orienting a solar-powered wireless security camera towards an open space can help to increase the detection's spatial range.
