I live in a very cold climate area of the US and hands down, these feel heavenly all day when you are walking in a winter wonder land. Inside is super soft and silky feeling, a sort of brushed knit that is buttery soft. So far they are holding up. I am hard on my laundry so I will see come spring how they have faired to multiple washings. Great sock for the value
