Easy to assemble and meets specifications. 1” steel threaded rods smooth on exterior, not too thin, telescopic section with firm spring. Plenty of contact surface on end pieces to avoid damaging drywall. Remains firm and apparently does not warp spanning 72” with load. Although a shower rod, using it to span a sliding door recess for an extra set of drapes in winter.

Easy to install extension rod

This shower curtain rod works perfectly in an entry way into the bathroom. For some reason when they built the house they didn't add a bathroom door. So we purchased the extension current rod %26 hung a theatre drape (38” x 96”). The extension rod held up the heavy drape and fit snuggly between the walls. It was so easy to slip the drape on %26 mount on the wall. Tightening the rod is so easy!!

Exactly as in description. I had read a review complaining that the bar was not chrome. It is not suppose to be chrome it says stainless steel. People read the description. I too had to swap out one of the larger tubes for the smaller tube to install it...easy enough! It looks great and it is strong and sturdy. Great price and quality. Get you one.
