These are super soft, but they do run small, especially for a men's item. Also, they do shrink in the dryer. I'm female, 5'6, and 125 pounds and I ordered a size large for an oversized look. They barely reach my ankles, but they are very baggy and have a working drawstring. I wear them around the house and to sleep in, which is what I purchased them for. I would order them again for house sweats/pj's.

Best sweatpants ever if you can get them

I have bought these for years because I am tall and men's are a little longer than women's. However, considering that they are men's, I think they should be a little longer. I disagree with the statistics that most men are only about 5'8". Even if it was true another inch or so wouldn't hurt them and it would add millions more prospective buyers. It's dumb that FM never stocks any colors and is always sold out. It tells me it's a good seller and buying more stock would be a wise move but what do I know? They'd rather have 25 pairs of M and none of other sizes--black, grey and navy--if you're lucky. I guess when you're filthy rich you don't worry about those little details.
