While the changing table is extra is really useful since you don't have to buy that separately and also comes with extra spaces to put stuff inside on the changing table . Also if you have toddlers it's also perfect for them because this crib is going to help them as they grow and it has plenty of room . For safety measures don't add any big blankets or toys as your babies may suffocate . I recommend it and it was easy to assemble if you follow the manual I received it completely free from Influenster and I like it thank you .
