i didn't realize this when i ordered. this is a wireless charging battery pack that can attach to your phone case via a magnetic ring. it charges through the case. you do not need to use a cable to transpothe charge from battery pack to cell phone. my phone is old, batteru drains quickly, and has a factory sealed battery that cost $100 to replace. this battery pack accomplishing the same thing.... easy peasy. great purchase!
