bought it for a ps5 and no joke it has pretty good motion blur handiling,overshoot handiling,and the vrr even works with the ps5 its crazy so you can actually use 120fps and vrr, I'm assuming games like the last of us part 1 and part 2 remaster will work at there 120fps modes because when i had the other screen it did 120 but could not use the vrr on that one however this one is amazing and you can't get anything better than this one i really hope they never discontinue this model it is worth every penny and then some now i would say even tho its 1440p id still buy it even for a ps4 pro idk about base ps4 but the pro definitely the reason being is because it does accept the 4k 2160p resoulution i guess you can say it works kinda how a 720p screen works a 720p tv is 1360x768 or 1366x768 useually 1366x768 but it accepts the 1080p resoulution and just downscales essentially the same as the 1440p using the 4k resoulution on ps5 or ps4 pro it looks incredible plays so well works so well and didnt really half to do much straight out of the box i turned up the speakers too 100 because we all know you half to with monitors built in speakers if you wanna at least mostly hear everything lol oh and yeah it has built in speakers now idk how well it looks on movies yet but im sure it will look great tho it has 2 hdmi ports which is perfecr because if you are like me and have a dedicated blu ray player and a game console it really comes in handy considering most hdmi extender adapters that give you more hdmi ports give you imput lag n so on its always better to plug it straight into the tv or monitor now if the speakers arent good enough for you they got you covered there too if you have pc speakers laying around they will prob work it has a headphone port and a usb port so not sure if the usb works for audio but hey if it does thats awesome too this monitor is the best one ever n ive had all kinds of screens tv and monitor alike the only tv that you can get on a budget that vrr works on with ps5 is the crappy vizio tvs that walmart decided to take over and ruin onn brand sucks for video not bad for sound tho and sense vizio is basically onn now you can imagine how bad it has gotton with the video they tend to have a bunch of different issues anymore and buyer beware of vizio do not update vizio tvs you will make the image and everything worse than it was before the update theres only 2 decent vizio tvs ive found so far the 43 inch 4k and the 50 inch 4k the $198/$228 43 inch and the $198/$214 50 inch depending on if you buy it online or in store they are usually the vfd43m-0804 or the vfd50m-0804 models if i remember the model numbers correctly but yeah anyways this monitor is amazing even for consoles!!!!!!!!
