I got this because I needed something to transport my laptop when I go to a creative writing group I have joined recently I only need to transport my laptop and power cord I could probably fit a notebook or two as well if needed if you need to transport a lot of stuff other than just your laptop you might have to spend more on a larger case but if all you need it for is the laptop then this is perfect
