Ovation Celebrity Elite, 12-String Acoustic Electric Guitar, Black

The Ovation CE4412-5-G Celebrity Series Elite mid-depth 12-string acoustic-electric Guitar provides full, resonant 12-string tone with Ovation's innovative roundback design. Its mid-depth body contours comfortably to your frame while projecting sound outward. The solid spruce top and scalloped bracing deliver a crisp attack with balanced warmth.

Roundback Design Resonates

Ovation's famous roundback construction gives the CE4412-5-G impressive resonance and projection. The Lyrachord body is naturally curved to produce rich lows and clear highs. Its mid-depth cutaway provides full fret access without sacrificing tone. The multi-soundhole design expands the guitar's tonal range by accentuating different frequencies. Together, these innovations immerse you in dynamic 12-string sound.

Solid Spruce Top With Scalloped Bracing

At the heart of the CE4412-5-G is a solid spruce top, the preferred tonewood for acoustic instruments. Spruce produces a bright, balanced tone that rings out clearly. Ovation's scalloped X-bracing allows the spruce top to vibrate freely, generating rich harmonics and impressive volume. The bracing and spruce top give this 12-string guitar a crisp attack with rounded lows and sparkling highs.

Slim Neck and Low Action for Easy Playability

The CE4412-5-G's nato neck has a slim profile for fast, comfortable playing. Its ovangkol fingerboard and bridge provide a smooth playing surface. The nut width of 1.89" gives each course of strings ample room, while the low action makes barre chords and complex fingerings easy to form. Whether you're a novice or seasoned player, this 12-string guitar's slim neck and low action will inspire you to keep practicing and perfecting your technique.

Onboard Electronics for Amplified Performances

The CE4412-5-G comes equipped with an Ovation OP-4CT preamp and Ovation CP-100 pickup. The simple preamp has bass, mid and treble controls to shape your amplified tone. It also features a built-in tuner for quick tuning on stage or in practice. The pickup accurately conveys the guitar's acoustic properties through an amplifier or PA system. When plugged in, the CE4412-5-G delivers the same vibrant tone that fills rooms unplugged.
