It didn't make it in time for her birthday but the quality of the bike is great.

This is a great bike, it was easy to assemble with easy to follow instructions. The handlebars come in a weird position but this is just so they fit in the box. The handlebars are easily adjusted with an allen wrench. Cannot beat this beach cruiser for the money.
