I am so pleased with this humidifier! I used to think that I didn't want the cool mist and always wanted the hot steam types. Wow, am I glad I finally tried this brand!! It works so well and is virtually effortless. It's silent. It's super clean. It doesn't get hot. It's easy to fill. It starts working the moment you turn it on. It actually raises the humidity level in the room (small room of course) which I can confirm on my cheap little hygrometer so it is actually doing what it's supposed to do. It has a dial to go from low to high that works perfectly. It lasts a long time between fills. There's no white residue or any residue for that matter. Very easy to clean although mine hardly seems to need it especially if I used distilled water. I haven't had to clean it yet and I've had it going for several weeks. The price is great! It's a fantastic little humidifier that packs a big punch! Five stars!! :)

had the older version of this one. i like this one better than older version. need to make sure that u clean weekly. u can boil water instead of buying the water they recommend.
