I now have 2 of these. I use one upstairs and one downstairs and all hard floor. Battery life is preatty good although in dog shedding season it is going to work harder and sometimes has to go back to charge in between. It helps when you stop the machine and clear hair out peridically so its not working as hard. My first one I ordered in 2024 battery went bad withing the first month and a half. I purchased the $10 protection plan and the vendor had me take some vids and pics to ensure I was handling correctly. They had me mail it back and sent me a new one. This one has been running over a year and the second one is a great enhancment for upstairs.
