Key item features

  • Vibrant Design: The SAFAVIEH Amherst Thorburn Floral Area Rug features a striking Navy/Ivory color scheme and a floral pattern, measuring 5'3" x 8'.
  • Durable Construction: Power loomed in Turkey, this rug is crafted from 67% Polypropylene, 18% Fibrillated Polypropylene, 8% Latex, and 7% Polycotton (Warp) with a 0.38" pile height.
  • Care Recommendations: Regular vacuuming (without beater bars) and spot cleaning are recommended, with professional cleaning for tough stains; rotate every 3-6 months to ensure even wear.
  • Backing Details: The rug's backing contains latex, and a rug pad (sold separately) is advised to prevent shifting and sliding, especially for carpet-to-carpet use.
  • Furniture Protection: To avoid flattening piles, use rug protectors under the legs of heavy furniture.
  • Color Preservation: Avoid direct sunlight exposure to prevent color fading over time, positioning the rug away from direct sun whenever possible.
  • Crease Management: Temporary creases from packing and shipping are normal and will gradually recede; back-rolling or reverse rolling can expedite their flattening.

Very Nice!

It would be nice if it had a rubber backing. However, I am very pleased.
