Rock solid performance and value.

ASUS and nVidia have done it again with another rock solid 70 series card. From an nVidia perspective this card offers some of the best mid range performance numbers and overall capabilities at a price most of us can afford when compared to nVidia's higher end 80 and 90 series cards. From an ASUS perspective this card offers what has become the standard in stability and longevity via ASUS' TUF line of products. Upgrading from a EGA 2070 Super card I have seen a minimum of 100% increase in real world performance at max setttings in most games, but with games supporting DLSS 3 like Dying Light 2 the performance is more like 200% or more. But aside from just raw performance this card offers 12 GB of video memory which means you can run the majority of the newest high res texture packs for older games like Red Dead Redemption 2. I just love this card with my only real complaints being the laid back RGB lighing ASUS used on the card, it's overall weight and the new power connector. ASUS has done it's best to address the last two issues by including a cool card support and a power adapter, but you need to be aware that these two extras might not work for you depending on your PC case. For me they worked, but they were not the best option which meant I had to find and buy a vertical GPU mount so just keep that in mind. However, those little complaints aside this card rocks and I couldn't be happier.

Great card for all the current AAA games out there

This card is everything I hoped it would be, upgrading from a 2070 super. It runs all my AAA titles on ultra settings (ray trace off on most of them) - and titles from 2 or more years ago runs great even with RT enabled. It should have been $200 cheaper, but that is not Asus's fault - we all know who's fault that is.... given the choices/prices out there, this card is a true sweet spot, and the advantage over the 3090 is - you get roughly equal performance, but the 4070 gives you the latest tech that the 30 series cannot (DLSS 3 for instance, which has come a LONG way).
