It is quite good for the price, easy to assemble, even though the backrest is perfect, neither too soft nor too hard, the sitting part is a little hard, just a little. It's not uncomfortable, it's perfect for a small room, I have it in my living room.

I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, and their nails—which we try to keep up on the best we can—have torn or scratched in spots where they have walked on it. Granted, it's dark enough so you can't tell from far away unless you look very closely. We almost always have blankets strown across it though so if guests come, you can find easy subtle ways to hide any possible scratches. The seating is pretty stiff at first but about a month in, I've started to notice it break in. The leather appears high quality visually. It's no “Costco quality” but you get what you pay for. Since we have animals and will have kids in the future, we decided this would be worth it for the time being. I'd say 4.5 stars for this item.
