Exactly what I expected! I've used my Grandmother's Lodge skillet for 40 years, my Mother used it and so did Grandma. So it was over 100 years old. I dropped it %26 it cracked last week, which meant it was time to replace it. Got the new one %26 it's twice as heavy as the old one! I seasoned it first thing and have used it several times already. It's perfect! Thank you Lodge for keeping the quality standards we've come to expect from you
