Worth every dime!! Will never go back!

Researched this compared to other Dyson and non-Dyson products. This one does all I wanted and more. Use it mainly for my wood floors that get dust and dirt from out windy area. Battery works fine. Never had it die on me, I use the normal setting. Also, it's great for keeping furniture clean with all the special attachments. SUPER flexible for stairs and under furniture. Picks up very well from sides and corners on hard floors. With it being battery powered, I can pick it up for a quick clean, esp if someone is coming over.

Great vacuum for seniors

Great vacuum for seniors. I am 75 year old senior with 2 Schnauzer dogs who lives in my daughter's home. I wanted a vacuum to keep up my 2 room living area, This Dyson is perfect. There are no cords, so no trip hazard for me. It is lightweight, easy to store and ready to use. I use it daily to keep up with the dog hair and it empties out without having to remove any parts. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Great vacuum, not great battery life

I have been waiting to buy a cordless Dyson vacuum for so long that when I finally got it I was thrilled. I immediately started charging it while I hung the holder and organized all of the accessories (a lot). When I got to start vacuuming I was loving it until the battery died shortly after. Hmmm. Not thrilled with the battery life. The other issues include the "trigger" not having a lock feature so that you don't have to constantly press the button. I also noticed that I have been developing a blister where I hold the vacuum in the crook of my thumb. In conclusion I like the vacuum cleaner but I wouldn't recommend it especially considering the price it costs .
