I bought 3 black covers and have used them for a few weeks as of this writing. They are a huge improvement compared to the ones I bought over 10 years ago. What makes it stay in place are the BACK STRAP, BUCKLE, two ARM STRAPS, LEG STRAP and your butt. The arm flaps are very long and hang almost to the floor. They don't bunch at all! The part of the cover on the back of the chair is very long and hangs well over the back of the chair. The only bunching of the cover is when I slouch, which causes the top of the chair cover to move down. The covers looks the same as the old ones. It's just as thin and hope will be just as durable. Cover arrives vacuum sealed. 3 separate plastic bags have to be opened. It's well packaged! The instructions and illustrations are not all that informative. See the attached photos for a better explanation. Here are a few tips: Remove the BACK STRAP and BUCKLE from the separate bag. Adjust the BACK STRAP to its maximum length, which is approximately 42 inches long. It can be stretched around the back of a chair to 80 inches comfortably. Attach the ends of the BACK STRAP to the sleeves sewn on the edge of the cover. There is only one pocket on the arm flaps. When sitting, the pocket is on your right side / right arm. The pocket has 3 adjacent 6-inch wide, 7-inch deep compartments for items, such as remote controls There is a LEG STRAP that arrives sewed onto the chair cover. It is not adjustable.

Got brand new chairs from Walmart.com and ordered the covers to protect them. Love the chairs and the covers protect our investment from grandkids and the dog. They don’t look bad and we feel better when the kids crawl all over them. Peace of mind and we can still use our cup holders.
