HENGDA KITE for Adults Polyester Stunt Kite 71" with Kite String

This kite is a good deal for what you pay for. It is a 1.8M kite from tip to tip. It breaksdown into a small pouch that is 24"x5" and less than 3" thick when I hurriedly stuffed it all back into the bag. This is one of the larger stunt kites I've bought, the fabric is pretty standard bi-weave nylon. The poles are a carbon fiber material that I have some concerns about since they seem to be cardboard tubes with a spiraled carbon fiber wrap, I've never seen these used on a kite only fiberglass poles but they are definatly lighter weight than fiberglass poles. The reason I'm a bit concerned is because I've had fishing poles of similar construction snap but those poles were tapered so these might be just fine. The connection points are made of a harder injection molded ABS type material instead of rubber like my more expensive kites, not a bad thing just different. The central pole breaksdown into two pieces and the wing poles breakdown into 3 with the last pole removeable. Two spreadders, a one piece upper and a two piece lower spreadder that has the standoff holder pieces attached with a minor amount of adjustment possible for the standoffs. The line and the straps are good quality, braided nylon lines probably 80lb breaking strength and the straps are 3/4 inch wide poly straps like a seatbelt type material. The last nitpicky thing I have is the line spool was loaded backwards, I had to unwind the whole thing and respool it, no big deal. I flew this kite for only about 20 minutes before the wind died to nothing. From what I felt, its going to be a good kite. Not the best one I've owned but better than an intro kite for the same price. I know this is the only review but I'm definatley happy with this purchase. (BTW this is a generic Chinese kite that is probably sold under dozen other brand names, but its good.)
