I often purchase Strawberries from Walmart for Strawberry Shortcake. My only complaint with them is that they look great in the store. If you do not use them in less than 24 hours, they just get nearly unusable . I don't know if there is a secret to keeping them looking good. I generally use them for shortcake for dessert or breakfast. Otherwise they are a good berry. Just use them ASAP!

Weird Strawberries- got one abnormally large mutant stamrawberry in clamshell. It was a 6 strawberries in one...still ate it, but took uo half clamshell...why did picker put in there. Still ate it and tasted good, just would tayher 6 indulividual, quality sized ones. But bonus gor cheap produce.
