I bought this for my 10-year-old son, and I have officially transitioned from "Parent" to "Pit Crew Chief." This bike is the ultimate gateway drug to a life of mud, speed, and explaining to neighbors why there are tire tracks on their petunias. Don’t let the "electric" tag fool you. This thing has some serious kick. It’s "zippy" enough that my son looks like a blur of 10-year-old confidence as he zooms past the dog. It hits that sweet spot where it’s fast enough for him to feel like a moto-legend, but not quite fast enough to break the sound barrier (yet). The best/worst part? The upgrade potential. This bike is basically a LEGO set on wheels. There are so many aftermarket kits out there that I’m currently one late-night Amazon session away from accidentally turning this into a 48V beast that can outrun a police interceptor. Pros: Instant Cool Factor: My son is now the undisputed King of the Cul-de-sac. Quiet-ish: It doesn't make that "chainsaw on steroids" noise that gas bikes do, which is great for keeping the peace with the local HOA. Battery Life: Long enough for him to get tired before the bike does. Cons: I am too big to ride it myself without looking like a circus bear on a tricycle (though I have tried, and yes, it held up). I now spend all my free time looking at battery upgrade forums. TLDR; If you want your kid to stop looking at a screen and start looking for jumps in the backyard, get this bike. It’s sturdy, it’s fast, and it’s the most fun he’s had since discovering he can make armpit farts.

Bought this for my grandson who turned 6. He absolutely loved it. Easy to put together and sturdy. Only issue is the battery. We chose to give it to him after his birthday party in the afternoon. The battery has a big tag that says YOU HAVE TO CHARGE 12 hours before use. We didn’t note anything on the outside of the box alerting us to that. He was mildly disappointed he had to wait until next day to use but still loved it. After charging, battery lasts about an hour. I would have thought it would last a bit longer. Overall still very happy with product thus far. If it holds up till next school year it will be a great purchase. 😊

Excellent buy, son LOVES it!

My son absolutely loves this bike! He rides it every day after school and cruises around the neighborhood for hours. He is absolutely obsessed with it. He got it for his 10th birthday. He is fairly small for his age. About 4’5, 62lbs. So while it works well for him, it probably would be too small for a child bigger than him. But he doesn’t grow fast so I figured he could use this as his intro to motorbiking and eventually upgrade to a bigger size. This has been awesome though. He literally cried when he saw it. Excellent buy for sure.
